Throughout her career, Susan has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor and leading voice in the technology industry. Creating partnerships around technology helps businesses adapt to change, spur innovation, and create value. She would say, “That’s when things truly happen”.
While her passion for technology has helped guide her, Susan’s strong focus on sustaining revenue growth and driving operational efficiency has helped create an organization devoted to enabling its customers to run their businesses.
Spurred on by her experience as one of the only women in her Computer Science classes in the early 90’s, Susan is a passionate advocate for the advancement of diversity and inclusion. During her time in the UK, Susan was a Founder & Chair of the Skills and Diversity Council for techUK, a founding Director for The Tech Talent Charter, and in 2017 was named among the top 50 Most Influential Women in UK IT by Computer Weekly magazine.
Prior to taking on global leadership at Aptum (formerly Cogeco Peer 1), Susan was Vice President and General Manager of Cogeco Peer 1, EMEA, where she spearheaded strategic direction. Susan has also held the role of Chief of Staff UK & Ireland at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) following her tenure of over 16 years at HP UK Ltd.
Susan has a post-graduate certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich, a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science, Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth. Susan is also a Board member and Non-Executive Director for Versarien PLC, a Non-Executive Director and Trustee for JISC and a member of the Forbes Technology Council.
As Chief Infrastructure Officer (CIO), Alberto is responsible for building out and overseeing Aptum’s global IT infrastructure and managed IT capabilities, while supporting Aptum’s customers in 77 countries. As a member of Aptum’s executive leadership team, he plays an important role in establishing and executing Aptum’s corporate strategy.
Alberto is a seasoned IT industry executive with more than 20 years of experience in the data center, telecommunications and IT industries. Prior to joining Aptum, he served as Chief Operating Officer for global IT managed solutions provider CentriLogic.
Before this, Alberto worked for more than 15 years with Bell Canada. In his most recent position with Bell, he served as Vice President — Solution Delivery, Business Markets where he led national professional services and managed services engineering teams, responsible for network, data center, security, cloud and Internet of Things solutions for enterprise customers across Canada.
Alberto is a Professional Engineer and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Leigh oversees the creation of new revenue opportunities and growing sales of Aptum’s products and services portfolio globally. He’s responsible for helping our customers leverage multi-cloud managed services, allowing them to build robust hybrid cloud infrastructure platforms that maximize the value from their data.
With more than 20 years of experience in developing sales organizations, Leigh is an expert at generating profitable revenue growth in the IT and Managed Services industries. He has worked for companies such as Sungard Availability Services, Ricoh, Wolseley and Pitney Bowes.
He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Brock University, a Marketing Diploma from Sheridan College, and Certificate’s in Marketing and Sales Management from the Schulich School of Business and Smith School of Business.
As CFO, Mark is responsible for ensuring Aptum is always on solid financial ground by providing our executive team, investors and key stakeholders with the right information at the right time. Mark has 30+ years’ experience working in technology and brings with him a deep knowledge of the sector. He has been lead on numerous acquisitions and has completed five exits.
Mark is a CPA with a Bachelor of Arts from Queens University, and prior to joining Aptum, he served as CFO for Tier1CRM Inc., Gavel and Gown Software, North Plains, Syncapse and Platform Computing Inc.
As CMO, Claudine leads Aptum’s Marketing team to drive growth for Aptum’s multi-cloud managed and professional services portfolio, including the development and guidance of go-to-market strategies, customer relations, branding, PR, communications, analyst relations, campaign management and lead generation.
With more than 15 years of experience in marketing management, Claudine is an accomplished, versatile marketing professional with a drive for strategic planning, creating growth opportunities and developing talent. Known for fueling and facilitating the creative process, Claudine has a record of building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships and driving exceptional business results through meaningful actions.
Prior to her current position, Claudine was Head of Marcom & Brand at Aptum, responsible for building Aptum’s brand across all marketing and communications channels. Before joining Aptum, Claudine was Head of Canadian Marketing for PGi, an online collaboration SaaS company, where she was responsible for executing integrated marketing initiatives across Canada.
Claudine has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural Design, both from the University of Toronto.
As Chief of Staff, Ross’s role is to assist in executing the Company strategy by working with and advising the CEO and executive team members on initiative implementation and leading special projects. Prior to taking on this role, Ross held the position of General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer for the past 5 years.
Ross has 14+ years’ experience working in the technology sector and is a regular public speaker and advocate on key issues affecting the technology sector such as privacy laws and diversity, equality and inclusion. He also represents Aptum as a committee member on TechUK’s Cloud Leadership Committee. This deep operational knowledge of the industry provides invaluable insight into developing the necessary internal standards and practices to ensure our services meet the demanding requirements of our clients.
Prior to joining Aptum, Ross worked with the law firm Shoosmiths in the UK on their technology and commercial teams. Ross graduated from the University of Exeter where he obtained a LLB in Law.

As Global Head of Business Transformation, Scott’s role is to support Aptum’s growth from a traditional hosting company to a Hybrid Multi-cloud Managed Services Provider. Scott partners closely with the Aptum Leadership team as we look to the future of digital transformation, including the people, processes and technologies required to ensure a seamless evolution across our organization.
Scott’s 10 years of experience here at Aptum, most recently as VP Customer Experience, along with over 25 years of expertise working with companies such as AT&T, LexisNexis, TMP Worldwide and Sykes Enterprises, lay the solid foundation for the necessary skills required to take the business to the next level. Scott’s extensive background in change management, industry knowledge and a well-rounded understanding of both the technical requirements and the roles and departments that are affected are critical to a successful transformation.
Scott has a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and is based out of our Atlanta, Georgia office.
Marvin is responsible for the growth and success of Aptum’s product strategy and development. From planning to solutioning and implementation, his team ensures Aptum can help our customers solve their business challenges and drive outcomes that matter, for both today and tomorrow.
With over 20 years of experience in Product, Finance, and Transformation, Marvin understands the importance and impact of a customer’s digital transformation toward the cloud. It is this customer-journey lens that drives his focus on delivering results.
Prior to Aptum, Marvin ran his own company specializing in Advanced Analytics, spent over a decade with Bell Canada in M&A, Finance, and Product, and before that he worked at KPMG and Capgemini supporting organizations through transformation initiatives.
Marvin has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
Philippe has held various positions within the People & Engagement Team at Aptum over the last 4 years. As a member of the executive team and in his role of Director of People & Engagement, Philippe supports the organization in establishing and executing on the strategic objectives regarding its human resources. In his day-to-day responsibilities, Philippe’s team oversees Employee Relations, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance, Payroll and Benefits for all regions. Prior to joining Aptum, Philippe held several roles for national and global companies in various sectors.
Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal and is an active member of the Ordre des Conseillers en Ressources Humaines Agréés du Québec.
